Cold hands, warm heart is a term used to describe someone who doesn’t outwardly show feelings but is very kind and loving on the inside. This piece was created to show the beauty of most African mothers who are stern outwardly but are absolute marshmallows on the inside. The blue coloured hands indicate coldness while her blossoms (her heart area) are a blend of red, orange and yellow signifying warmth.
