What do these two pieces have in common?
Two of them were commissioned to depict Lagos, Nigeria. One a market scene and the other a
street scene.
Lagos has way too often been depicted by crowded streets and numerous yellow buses spread
into the distance.
That is Lagos, but from one fixed perspective.
Depending on whose eyes you look through, lagos can take on various forms.
So my objective with these pieces was to shift that perspective, see Lagos through not one but
different perspectives and depict them because those perspectives deserve to be seen too.
